Many congratulations to pupils, parents and staff. You have worked incredibly hard this year and we are delighted with your achievements. Over 74% of our students made at least expected progress in English and over 40% made better than expected progress. Maths was just below this.

We have a number of students who have achieved outstanding results and deserve particular mention. Roxana Tabin achieved 4A*s, 2As, 2Bs and a C – she will be studying Music at sixth form. Emma Murphy achieved 4A*s, 1A, 5Bs and she will be studying Maths. Kai Mendes achieved 3A*s, 4As and a B. Elizabeth Nicholl achieved 2A*s, 5As and a B. Well done to all of you!

We did notice some volatility in Maths this year due to Government changes and are working to check how these changes have impacted on individual results. Our curriculum offer is robust and not built on multiple BTEC awards and we are very happy that 58% of students achieved 5 or more good GCSE grades.
