Mobile phones are not allowed in lessons unless students are directed to use them by a member of staff for educational purposes only. They can be a major cause of disruption to teaching and learning and can lead to conflict. If brought to school, they need to be switched off and left out of sight before entering a classroom. If taken out in lessons they are to be confiscated. Any music during lessons will be provided through the main classroom system.

The same rule applies for staff. Phones are to be switched off during lessons and should be out of sight during lessons.
